Job summary

Sword are recruiting an OT Security Engineer to support cyber security implementations across complex OT environments in the energy sector. You will assess existing OT setups, identify risks and apply practical controls to strengthen critical operational systems.

Role involves site visits, collaboration with engineers and consultants, and producing technical reports. A hands-on, practical approach and strong communication with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in cyber security, engineering or CS.
• Knowledge of OT cyber security frameworks such as IEC 62443 / NIST is beneficial.
• Hands-on OT/industrial control systems security implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Support OT and ICS cyber security assessments, audits and reviews.
• Visit onshore and offshore sites to assess systems and gather asset data.
• Develop OT network diagrams, system architectures and data flows.
• Identify vulnerabilities and support baseline OT security controls.
• Deploy and test security technologies in operational environments.
• Produce technical documentation and security evidence for clients.
