Job summary

Sword is seeking a Senior OT Engineer to deliver cyber security solutions across complex OT environments. You will assess existing environments, design and implement technical security controls, and collaborate with engineering, cyber security and operations teams to ensure secure operations.

Ideal candidates have practical OT/ICS experience, strong networking skills, and the ability to produce technical documentation, risk assessments and security evidence throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with OT/ICS environments and cyber security principles.
• Strong network architecture knowledge including segmentation.
• Ability to perform threat and vulnerability assessments.
• Experience designing, implementing and testing security controls.
• Ability to document assessments and provide security assurance evidence.

Responsibilities

• Review OT environments, architectures and technical designs from a cyber security perspective.
• Assess OT networks, connectivity, system interactions and data flows to identify potential security risks.
• Carry out threat and vulnerability assessments across operational environments.
• Support the design and implementation of appropriate technical security controls.
• Configure and test security controls within OT environments.
• Review technical solutions and provide security assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Produce clear technical documentation, risk assessments and security assurance evidence.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure security considerations are incorporated into technical solutions.
