Sword Group in Glasgow is seeking a Senior OT Engineer to lead cyber security across industrial OT environments. You will join a multidisciplinary delivery team, assess risks, design and test technical security controls, and support governance and documentation.

The role requires practical OT/ICS experience, strong networking knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with engineering, cyber security and operational teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OT and cyber security standards and frameworks would be beneficial.
• Relevant technical or cyber security certifications (IEC 62443, GICSP, Check Point or Splunk) would be advantageous.
• Practical experience delivering security within OT environments is more important than specific qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Review OT environments and designs from a cyber security perspective.
• Assess OT networks, connectivity and data flows for security risks.
• Carry out threat and vulnerability assessments across operational environments.
• Support design and implementation of technical security controls.
• Configure and test security controls within OT environments.
• Work with engineering, cyber security and operations teams to resolve challenges.
