Job summary

Likewize in Crewe is seeking an In House Mobile Phone Repair Technician to inspect, diagnose and repair customer devices in a fast-paced repair centre.

You will use approved tools and procedures, perform fault diagnosis, component-level repairs and thorough functional testing to return devices to full working order.

The role offers ongoing training, career development and opportunities to work with the latest repair processes in a structured, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mobile repair or a similar field.
• A keen eye for detail and a desire to always learn.
• The ability to multitask and work as a team player.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Replacing or repairing buttons, ports, batteries, screens, phone casing and other parts of different devices
• Diagnosing faults on devices using visual inspections, manual tests and diagnostic software
• Carrying out repairs with care and attention using magnetic screwdrivers, tweezers and other essential tools
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace and following all health and safety procedures
• Keeping up to date on the latest devices via our training platform
• Completing quality control checks using a visual inspection checklist and quality control software
• Respecting the value of information by following Likewize’s data protection / information security policies and procedures
