Job summary

Likewize is seeking an In House Mobile Phone Repair Technician in Crewe to inspect, diagnose and repair devices arriving at our repair centre. You’ll use approved tools and processes to perform fault diagnosis, component repairs, replacements and thorough functional testing.

You’ll work with a fast-paced team, balancing speed and precision, with ongoing training and access to the latest repair procedures to develop your skills in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• A keen eye for detail and a desire to always learn.
• The ability to multitask and work as a team player.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Previous experience in mobile repair or a similar field.

Responsibilities

• Replacing or repairing buttons, ports, batteries, screens, phone casing and other parts of different devices.
• Diagnosing faults on devices using visual inspections, manual tests and diagnostic software.
• Carrying out repairs with care and attention using magnetic screwdrivers, tweezers and other essential tools.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace and following all health and safety procedures.
• Keeping up to date on the latest devices via our training platform.
• Completing quality control checks using a visual inspection checklist and quality control software.
• Respecting the value of information by following Likewize’s data protection / information security policies and procedures.
