Job summary
Carr's Billington Agriculture seeks a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join the Lancaster Mill team. You will maintain electrical systems, diagnose faults, and support safe, reliable production in a high-volume agricultural processing environment.
Key duties include planned and reactive electrical maintenance, plant upgrades, and on-call support while upholding strict safety and environmental standards. A Level 3 electrical qualification and CMMS experience are essential.
Qualifications
- Requires Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent.
- Experience with industrial electrical control systems and fault finding.
- Knowledge of Safe isolation/LOTO procedures is essential.
- Experience with plant maintenance in agriculture/manufacturing is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Report, diagnose and remedy defects and malfunctions to keep production efficient.
- Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on electrical distribution and plant equipment.
- Assist during major maintenance periods and shutdowns to ensure availability.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and keep workshop tidy and safe.
- Provide on-call support as required and follow site safety procedures.
