Job summary

Ledwood in North Wales is seeking a Material Controller to oversee receipt, storage and distribution of on-site materials for a major project at Point of Ayr.

You will maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate with QA/QC, ensure compliance with HSE, BS standards, and support timely material availability to avoid delays.

The role is on-site for 18–24 months, with site-specific hours and accommodation allowances.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oil/Gas/Nuclear on-site construction environments.
• Physically capable of handling materials manually.
• CCNSG Safety Passport and Safety Medical are required.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming materials against delivery notes and orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and in compliance with BS/UK regulations.
• Prepare and submit material status reports.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections.
• Issue materials to site teams and track allocations.
• Support audits with auditable records.
