Job summary

SearchWorks Pty Ltd seeks a Group IT Support Technician to join its internal IT team in the UK. This hands-on role supports colleagues with day-to-day technical issues across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and IT infrastructure.

You will log requests, assist with installations and migrations, maintain assets, and work with external suppliers. The role is fully onsite, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £28,000–£32,000 and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, service desk or similar role.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Understanding of basic networking and IT infrastructure.
• Experience supporting Windows-based devices and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software and issues.
• Log, manage, update and resolve service desk requests.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide practical solutions across the business.
• Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, mobiles and IT equipment.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 administration and user needs.
• Assist with Active Directory administration and access.
• Support network troubleshooting and IT infrastructure activities.
• Assist with system updates, maintenance and backups.
• Support IT upgrades, installations and migrations.
• Maintain IT asset and user records and work with suppliers.
