Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup is seeking an Onsite Support Engineer for our client’s R&D Head Office in Southampton. This six‑month contract offers site coverage from 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, with a rate up to £200 per day via an umbrella company.

You will manage fault calls, service requests and changes, provide Smart Hands support on site, and operate the BAT TechDeck including PC builds, AD administration, Microsoft 365, and Windows 11.

Qualifications

• On-site deskside support and customer-facing communication.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Experience with VIP/executive stakeholder support.

Responsibilities

• Manage fault calls, service requests and changes in IT support environment.
• Provide on-site Smart Hands support across on-site infrastructure.
• Operate BAT TechDeck: PC builds, OS config, AD, and hardware repair.
• Tackle complex cases end-to-end and maintain accurate records.
• Work with end users including VIPs and executives to ensure service quality.
