Job summary

CDW UK in Cambridge is seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract onsite. You will provide hands-on technical support to end users, ensuring hardware, software, and peripherals operate efficiently within a business-critical environment.

You will collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors and stakeholders, manage incidents and changes, and contribute to ongoing IT projects and infrastructure improvements, while delivering clear guidance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or service desk roles.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, hardware and software.
• Excellent communication and ability to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, OS, and peripherals.
• Install, configure and support desktop and laptop environments.
• Maintain asset records and CMDB updates.
• Respond to incidents within SLAs and assist with IT projects.
• Produce technical documentation and user guidance.
