Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a proactive HSEQ Advisor to join our contract HSEQ team in the Alfreton area. You will be a visible on-site contact for health, safety, environmental and quality matters, promoting compliance and supporting site teams to deliver work safely and to the required standards.

This hands-on role involves audits, incident investigations, driving continuous improvement, and close collaboration with operational teams, clients and contractors, with development opportunities across

Qualifications

• Recognised health and safety qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent).
• IOSH membership or working towards membership.
• Experience auditing, inspecting and assuring safety compliance.
• Understanding of CDM regulations and site-based delivery.
• Capability to lead investigations and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, compliant and efficient delivery with operational teams.
• Promote high standards of HSEQ across activities and sites.
• Carry out inspections, assurance visits and close non-conformances.
• Assist investigations into accidents and near-misses with root-cause analysis.
• Encourage proactive reporting and continuous improvement.
• Provide updates on trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive timely close-out of corrective actions from reviews and audits.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and teams.
• Promote CDM compliance and maintain knowledge of ISO frameworks.
