Job summary

Network Plus seeks an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our regional contract team in Alfreton, supporting National Grid operations. You will promote safety, environmental and quality compliance, guide site teams and ensure proper documentation and system requirements are communicated clearly.

The role is hands-on, requiring practical auditing, incident investigations and coaching on safe behaviours, with full UK driving licence and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A recognised health and safety qualification.
• Working towards IOSH membership.
• Experience in utilities sector or around electrical cabling is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Work with operations teams to support safe, compliant and efficient delivery.
• Promote high standards of HSEQ compliance across activities.
• Conduct site inspections, assurance visits and verification checks, ensuring closure of findings.
