Job summary

Network Plus is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support health, safety, environment and quality across our regional operations. You will be a visible on-site presence, coaching teams and promoting safe, responsible behaviours while ensuring CDM compliance and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the HSEQ Lead, you will conduct audits, inspections and assurance activities, investigate incidents, and support training and competency requirements. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification.
• IOSH membership or working toward membership.
• Experience in utilities sector or electrical cabling beneficial.
• Experience in Distribution Network Operator environments advantageous.
• Ability to carry out audits, inspections and assurance checks.
• Experience leading incident investigations and corrective actions.
• CDM knowledge within utility/construction environments.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, compliant and efficient delivery with operational teams.
• Promote high standards of HSEQ compliance across activities.
• Carry out site inspections and assurance checks with timely closure of findings.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Encourage reporting of unsafe acts/conditions and drive improvements.
• Produce weekly/monthly updates on trends, risks and opportunities.
• Close-out corrective actions from audits, client feedback and external audits.
• Build relationships with supervisors, contractors, clients and support functions.
