Job summary

ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions is seeking an HR Advisor for a hands-on generalist role at a busy Newport site. You will provide practical HR support to managers and employees across the site, handling ER matters, policy guidance, and reporting.

The role requires experience as an HR Advisor or HR Generalist, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Onsite engagement and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor or HR Generalist supporting a site.
• Confident handling a wide range of employee relations cases.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability matters.
• Support investigations, hearings and formal processes for managers.
• Monitor absence trends and support effective absence management.
• Assist with long‑term sickness cases in partnership with Occupational Health and management teams.
• Provide advice on HR policies, procedures and employment law.
