Job summary

Moderna is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to join our Harwell site. You will operate production equipment in a cGMP environment, adhere to SOPs and safety guidelines, and collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure timely disposition of commercial batches.

The role requires 3+ years in GMP manufacturing, a degree in Pharmaceutical production technology or equivalent, and experience with filtration and chromatography.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• University degree in Pharmaceutical production technology or equivalent.
• Experience with filtration and chromatography; cold chain management a plus.
• Experience in audit/inspection preparation and understanding Health authority guidelines.
• Excellent written, oral communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations in compliance with cGMP and SOPs.
• Operate production equipment safely following safety procedures.
• Follow gowning procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Identify and report compliance, health and safety issues.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to complete documentation for batch disposition.
• Participate in investigations including RCA and CAPA activities.
• Apply performance tools to meet KPI objectives and support production plans.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process and digital issues in production.
