Job summary

The Tank Museum is seeking an organised Partnerships & Events Administrator to support planning and delivery of the events programme and partner relationships. The role covers administrative duties for event and partnership activities, calendar management, invoicing, and on-site event support.

You will contribute to curatorial and planning phases of new events, manage communications, and assist with risk and safety considerations across the department. On-site presence is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service environments.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Interest in partnerships and events; budget management desirable.
  • Desire to contribute both administratively and on the ground at events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for events and partnerships, including bookings, invoicing, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Manage museum calendar, room bookings, stock, signage and communications channels.
  • Support operational planning and delivery of public events and smaller corporate bookings.
  • Collaborate with the wider museum team on cross-department projects.
  • Serve as primary contact for telephone inquiries and assist with minutes and health and safety tasks.
