Job summary

WPS is seeking an experienced Lead Resident Engineer (Electrical) to join our Facilities Management team for a prestigious London property on behalf of JLL. You will lead on-site electrical maintenance, coordinate PPM and reactive tasks, and maintain high standards of safety and client service.

The role requires strong fault-finding, regulatory knowledge, and experience in building services; CAFM system usage and reporting will be integral to daily operations, with a proactive, customer-focused

Qualifications

Electrical engineer with facilities management or building services experience.
Experience with CAFM systems and maintenance reporting.
Knowledge of electrical systems and statutory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Act as the lead engineering representative on site and primary point of contact for engineering matters.
Build relationships with the client and stakeholders to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks across electrical/building services.
Ensure compliance with regulations, health & safety, and company procedures.
Coordinate specialist subcontractors to meet quality and performance standards.
Monitor plant performance and drive reliability improvements.
Assist with technical reporting, audits, and permit-to-work processes.
Maintain maintenance records in CAFM systems.
Provide technical guidance to other engineers on site when needed.
Drive proactive maintenance and continuous improvement.
