Job summary

The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) invites applications for an AV Technician to join our London-based team. The role focuses on delivering live, hybrid and digital event support with a hands-on, customer-focused approach in a busy AVTMS environment.

We seek a practical, calm, solutions-driven technician capable of handling audio, projection, video, IT and lighting across meetings, conferences, webinars and filming projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing environment, with the confidence to support clients, speakers and colleagues professionally.
• Background in video production, live events, technical theatre, creative arts or a similar technical environment.
• Broad working knowledge of AV disciplines, including audio, projection, video, IT and lighting.
• A relevant technical or creative arts qualification, or equivalent professional or voluntary experience.
• Experience working in a venue, conference environment, production setting or content creation organisation.

Responsibilities

• You will play a key part in delivering professional technical support across meetings, conferences, webinars, filming, editing and live event production, helping ensure every client and delegate has a seamless experience.
