Job summary

Creative Technology UK in London is seeking an AV Technician to join the Managed Services team within Systems Integration. The role covers planning, coordination and on-site execution of AV production for live events and conferencing, with flexibility for evenings and occasional weekends.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in a similar environment, strong AV hardware knowledge, and experience with Windows and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Background checks are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience in a similar AV role
• Strong knowledge of modern AV equipment and systems including signal flow and advanced troubleshooting
• Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 Copilot

Responsibilities

• Assist Event Coordinators with technical input for event planning
• Support the Facilities team with rooms preparation and room setup activities
• Execute on-site, virtual and hybrid events and productions, ensuring AV elements are delivered effectively
• Provide Meet & Greet service for events, testing Teams/AV systems
• Act as a technical point of contact for event hosts and clients
• Engage with contractors and suppliers, including site visits and AV supervision
• Co-manage AV event spaces with client technology teams
• Deliver user training on AV systems and event technologies
• Manage workload with diary planning and end-user requests
• Build and maintain relationships to deliver high-quality AV service
• Maintain and update AV documents and records
• Log, track and resolve AV hardware/software issues
• Track updates in event spaces and calibrations
• Develop and manage Event AV Feedback process
• Contribute to process improvements and QA
• Recommend best practices for events and media support
• Conduct post-event reviews and collect client feedback
• Create SOPs and configurations documentation
• Perform planned preventative maintenance
• Handle confidential information per NDA requirements
