This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Onsite AV Technician to join an established operation with scope to enhance the service continuously.
We are looking for a skilled Onsite AV Technician to be a key part of our London team, representing our client and working onsite. The role involves supporting fully integrated conference rooms, boardrooms, and large environments such as auditoriums. The Technician will interface daily with customers, acting as an extension of their team, and will be responsible for operating and testing all AV and conference room equipment. The Technician will collaborate with the customer’s management team to support their equipment and user community.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all AV and media services are delivered professionally and efficiently.
- Provide high-level customer support to end users.
- Support and assist clients both virtually and in person.
- Provide ongoing support and training to internal and external clients.
- Assist clients with the use of fixed and portable AV equipment.
- Ensure all video conferencing requirements are met.
- Maintain onsite equipment and report faults promptly.
- Coordinate with remote offices for video conferencing setup.
- Setup and teardown scheduled onsite meetings.
- Perform daily system checks to ensure functionality.
- Conduct remote testing for regional offices.
- Support events by setting up and operating AV equipment.
- Perform first-line troubleshooting within time constraints.
- Collaborate with helpdesk and field engineers as needed.
- Perform other AV-related tasks as directed.
- Work within a team shift pattern set by the AV Team Lead.
- Coordinate with manufacturers for system repairs and maintenance.
- Support the Event Producer Team as required.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Follow daily handover processes to ensure continuous support.
