Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Plymouth is seeking an Assistant Production Controller to support our production team and help meet schedules onsite. You will plan loading, maintain the MPS, and coordinate with internal suppliers to reduce risks.

The role emphasizes problem solving, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure on-time delivery of parts, including rework and returns, with opportunities for professional growth within a global aerospace leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning or manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong computer literacy with Excel/MS Office.
• Attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare weekly loading plans.
• Create and maintain the monthly operational MPS.
• Mitigate risks for short term shortages with internal suppliers.
• Monitor production orders and adjust schedules for timely delivery.
• Ensure parts for rework are issued promptly.
• Support customer returns and NPI/Qualification planning.
• Prepare WIP reports and attend meetings to manage production plans.
