Job summary

AALTO in Farnborough is seeking a Production Controller to monitor the production plan and ensure manufacturing progresses on schedule. The role acts as the operational link between Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics.

You will track WIP, communicate priorities to production teams, identify risks, coordinate with material planners, and support recovery actions to minimise disruption. The successful candidate will have aerospace manufacturing experience, strong attention to

Qualifications

• Proven background in production control, manufacturing operations, or planning in aerospace/high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
• High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in an energetic operational environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production activities against plan.
• Identify schedule risks, bottlenecks, and production constraints; escalate issues.
• Coordinate production priorities with Material Planners and Buyers.
• Report on schedule attainment, WIP status, and delivery risks.
