Job summary

Radius Aerospace in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Production Controller to manage the smooth flow of parts through the business, keeping the Master Production Schedule on track. You will work closely with Cell Leaders and teams to drive WIP and ensure on-time delivery.

You will maintain live production boards, present daily production meetings, and support continuous improvement of methods, while coordinating with planners, stores and other units to optimize throughput.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within aerospace (essential).
• Experience of working to production targets (essential).

Responsibilities

• Actively drive parts through your area of responsibility, running expedite and work-to-list reports and liaising with planners and stores to keep WIP moving.
• Maintain production boards on a live basis and present daily production meetings, understanding and executing the MPS plan.
• Propose priority requirements ahead of the daily walk round and support it in person.
• Coordinate with other business units and cell leaders to expedite parts across the factory, including stock takes and inventory counts as required.
• Attend daily Hotspot reviews and complete daily handovers, highlighting product status, priorities and areas of concern.
• Support the Business Unit Manager with customer update data and contribute to continuous improvement of working methods.
