Job summary

Sopra Steria Ltd in Portsmouth is recruiting six Support Analysts to join a 24/7 shift-based team supporting a key programme. You will handle incidents, requests and changes, and contribute to testing and operational process development.

Required are ITIL awareness, application support experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. You must be willing to work onsite in a secure environment and join a 24x7 rota.

Qualifications

• Experience in application support and incident handling.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based support environments.
• Experience supporting apps via DevOps or scripted approaches.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in structured environments with defined processes.

Responsibilities

• Log, manage, and resolve incidents, requests, and support queries.
• Investigate issues, perform initial analysis, and escalate when needed.
• Monitor live services and ensure targets are met.
• Support problem management and change activities with proper records.
• Assist with testing, system checks, and release support activities.
• Produce and update support documentation and user guidance.
