Job summary

SBM Offshore N.V. is seeking an Operations Engineer to oversee coordination and execution of daily operational activities at the shorebase, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

You will optimise processes and support both onshore and offshore teams to maintain continuous operations. You will monitor safety and environmental standards, liaise with logistics, maintenance and production, and drive improvements through inspections, audits and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, or related field) required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily operational activities at the shorebase.
• Monitor and optimize operational processes to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to onshore and offshore teams.
• Liaise with logistics, maintenance, and production to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identify improvements.
• Analyze operational data and prepare management reports.
• Participate in planning and execution of projects and shutdowns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure materials and services availability.
