Job summary

Sainsbury's Group is seeking an experienced Online Manager to plan and oversee the delivery of an in-store online picking and delivery team. You will lead a large team of shoppers and drivers to ensure a seamless and safe shopping experience for customers both online and in-store.

The role requires effective people management, coaching, and the ability to meet KPIs while collaborating with store managers to optimise the overall shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Proven line management experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing operation.
• Strong customer service focus with coaching abilities.
• Track record of delivering KPIs and performance targets.
• Experience handling employee relations including disciplinaries.
• Operational leadership with ability to run store operations in absence of senior managers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead the delivery of an online picking and delivery team to support in-store online service.
• Inspire and coach a large team of shoppers and drivers to deliver a seamless, safe shopping experience.
• Collaborate with other managers to enhance the overall store shopping experience.
• Manage performance, capability, scheduling and pay to ensure teams run effectively.
