Job summary

Aspire People are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for a specialist SEND school in Oldbury. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with day-to-day supply/ongoing/long-term contracts available.

You will support pupils aged 11-19 with complex medical and additional needs, including autism, personal care requirements and significant learning needs. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification, have it listed on their CV, and be comfortable working as

• Must hold a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
• Must have the Level 3 qualification clearly listed on CV.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism and complex needs.
• Comfortable providing personal care.
• Confident supporting pupils with medical and physical needs.
• Patient, caring and resilient.
• Able to work as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team.
