Job summary

Victor Seymour Infants' School in Greater London is seeking a committed SEND One-to-One Support to join our team and help ensure the smooth running of the school. You will supervise pupils with SEND and support education plans, acting as a key point of contact for colleagues, pupils and parents.

The role focuses on enabling staff to deliver high-quality teaching by providing essential operational support and promoting inclusion.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 vocational training/qualification in the care, development and education of children.
• Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting.
• Some knowledge of children's social, emotional and behaviour needs and how to support these.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils with SEND and ensure their safety and ability to access learning activities.
• Aid the delivery of education plans suitable to each pupil's learning objectives.
• Build a trusting relationship with all pupils and communicate according to their understanding.
• Promote inclusion and acceptance, support diversity and ensure pupils have equal access to learning and development.
