Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to support children in the Bracknell area on a one-to-one basis, delivering personalised learning outside a traditional classroom. The role requires QTS or equivalent and UK classroom experience, with sessions at home, in the community, or online.

You’ll create and implement tailored plans for pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other needs, liaising with families and professionals. This is a temporary, part-time position with a flexible timetable.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to tutor individuals with SEN, including ASD/ADHD/SEMH or learning difficulties.
• Experience delivering personalised learning plans based on EHCPs.
• Use engaging strategies to promote learning and build confidence.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one tutoring for children and young people with SEN.
• Develop and deliver personalised learning plans based on each student’s needs and EHCPs.
• Use creative strategies to promote learning and build confidence.
• Liaise with parents/carers and other professionals involved in the student’s education.
• Sessions may take place at home, in a local venue, or online.
