Job summary

Sprint Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated One to One Teaching Assistant for a large primary school in Wolverhampton. This full-time role starts ASAP and could become long-term, with salary dependent on experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate has primary school experience, can provide one-to-one support, and is patient, caring, and a strong team player committed to helping pupils progress academically.

Qualifications

Experience working with children in a primary school environment.
Ideally experienced in one-to-one or small group support.
Patient, caring and encouraging.
Confident supporting pupils' academic development.
Able to build positive relationships with pupils.
Strong team player with teachers and support staff.
Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to making a positive difference.

Responsibilities

Providing one to one academic support to a KS2 pupil
Supporting the pupil to access and engage with the curriculum
Helping to reinforce learning and develop confidence in the classroom
Working closely with the class teacher to support the pupil's individual needs
Encouraging positive learning behaviours and independence
Providing consistent and nurturing support throughout the school day
Working as part of the wider school team to ensure the pupil receives the best possible support
