Job summary

EK Outreach Services Limited is seeking an experienced Engineering Teacher to deliver personalised one-to-one lessons for students with SEND. Lessons may occur at students' homes, libraries, or other agreed locations, with a curriculum linking science and engineering (Aerospace, Locomotion).

Responsibilities include planning bespoke lessons, assessing progress, and maintaining accurate records, while collaborating with pastoral teams to support student success.

Qualifications

• QTS or significant teaching engineering experience.
• Experience with KS3 Science and AQA Unit Award in Engineering.
• Experience with SEND students is desirable.
• Strong curriculum knowledge and ability to engage students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver individualised lessons aligned to student objectives.
• Teach GCSE or equivalent topics.
• Promote understanding, engagement and motivation for learners.
• Be patient and adapt teaching to SEND needs.
• Track progress and provide feedback to students, parents and staff.
• Maintain thorough records of lessons and progress.
