They enable clients, money managers, and financial professionals to access a wide range of tradable instruments, including foreign exchange (Forex), global indices, and key commodities such as precious metals and oil. The firm is known for its high standards of regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and commitment to delivering bespoke services across international markets.

The Role

This is a key role within the client lifecycle and operations function. As an Onboarding Specialist, you will manage the complete onboarding process for new clients and counterparties, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and exceptional service throughout. You will be instrumental in supporting the firms expanding global relationships and maintaining its reputation for reliability and trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for a range of sophisticated and international clients, including professional clients, funds, corporates, and counterparties.
• Handle onboarding and due diligence for entities that support the firms trading flow, such as liquidity providers and counterparties.
• Conduct and document KYC/AML checks in line with FCA and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Prepare, review, and maintain all onboarding documentation, including corporate materials, agreements, and compliance records.
• Act as a key point of contact between external clients and internal teams including Compliance, Legal, and Operations.
• Liaise with third-party institutions such as banks, PSPs, and technology providers to ensure timely and efficient account onboarding.
• Maintain detailed onboarding records and support internal audits and compliance reviews.
• Contribute to the refinement and development of onboarding procedures, controls, and documentation standards.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in client onboarding within a regulated financial services firm is essential.
• Strong understanding of onboarding processes for complex, international client types, including professional investors and institutional counterparties.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as MiFID II, FCA rules, and anti-money laundering legislation.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience working with corporate structures, funds, and financial institutions such as banks and PSPs.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with CRM or onboarding platforms would be advantageous.
