Job Description:

We are seeking a high-energy, flexible, and detail-oriented education technology professional to join our Customer Onboarding team in the UK, to engage and inspire new and existing customers throughout Europe and the Middle East region.

As an Onboarding Consultant, you will set up customers for immediate success by helping them navigate change management through customer training and consultation, sharing best practices, and facilitating implementation. You will educate our new and existing customer base through the delivery of compelling and interactive training sessions that leave attendees inspired to incorporate our products into their teaching and learning strategies. You will help solve technical problems with empathy and optimism, and identify and mitigate any risks associated with the customer’s adoption of our product.

You will be responsible for providing in-depth consulting services, using advanced functional knowledge, and product expertise to partner with customers on the implementation of their Turnitin product suite. This role will report to the Manager of Customer Onboarding.

Your success will expand Turnitin’s global reach – helping institutions to safeguard the academic integrity of all forms of assessment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Guide customers through a seamless implementation – Own the onboarding process end-to-end, including change management, implementation, integrations, training, usage, and adoption. Manage multiple projects, respond to customer queries promptly with empathy, review contracts, document relevant information, and ensure database configurations align with objectives.
  2. Educate customers for immediate success – Deliver expert online and in-person training, connect with education professionals, and facilitate change management to support outcomes.
  3. Solve technical problems – Learn products quickly, suggest solutions, identify issues early, and propose workarounds or escalate as needed.
  4. Collect and act on feedback – Seek feedback, improve training, and craft success plans to mitigate risks.
  5. Understand and act on success metrics – Develop and track key metrics, monitor project timelines, and communicate updates effectively.
  6. Develop outstanding training materials – Continually improve and create training resources, ensuring alignment with brand and customer needs.
  7. Work as ‘One Team’ – Collaborate across teams, facilitate smooth handoffs, and set up others for success.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years onboarding customers in SaaS or education tech; instructional design or training experience is a plus.
  • Language: Fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Skills & Attributes: Ability to simplify complex ideas, strong empathy, organizational skills, tech-savviness, self-motivation, engaging presence, flexibility across time zones, knowledge of onboarding/customer success practices, familiarity with education systems and LMS, and willingness to travel up to 10%.
