Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy, flexible, and detail-oriented education technology professional to join our Customer Onboarding team in the UK. The role involves engaging and inspiring new and existing customers throughout Europe and the Middle East region.

As an Onboarding Consultant, you will set up customers for success by helping them navigate change management through training and consultation, sharing best practices, and facilitating implementation. You will deliver compelling training sessions to educate our customer base, helping them incorporate our products into their teaching strategies. Additionally, you will troubleshoot technical issues with empathy and identify risks in customer adoption.

You will provide in-depth consulting, using your product knowledge to assist customers with their Turnitin product suite. This role reports to the Manager of Customer Onboarding and aims to expand Turnitin’s global reach by helping institutions uphold academic integrity.

Responsibilities

1. Guide customers through seamless implementation: Manage end-to-end onboarding, including change management, integrations, training, and adoption. Respond to queries with empathy, document relevant information, and coordinate with internal teams.
2. Educate for success: Deliver online and in-person training, connecting with education professionals, and inspiring them to utilize our tools effectively.
3. Solve technical problems: Learn our products quickly, suggest solutions, and escalate issues when necessary, while identifying additional training opportunities.
4. Collect and act on feedback: Seek feedback to improve training and track success plans, mitigating onboarding risks.
5. Understand and act on success metrics: Develop and monitor key metrics, manage project timelines, and communicate updates clearly.
6. Develop training materials: Continually improve training resources, ensuring alignment with brand and customer needs.
7. Work as ‘One Team’: Collaborate effectively across teams, ensuring smooth transitions during customer journey stages.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.
• Experience: At least 3 years in customer onboarding at a SaaS or education tech company; instructional design or teaching experience is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Skills & Attributes: Ability to simplify complex ideas, strong empathy, organizational skills, tech-savviness, independence, enthusiasm, flexibility, and knowledge of education systems and LMS is highly regarded. Willingness to travel up to 10% annually.
