Overview

The Role: A fast-paced and exciting role acting as the main point of contact for all new business enquiries to the team. Actively promoting the work of the department and continually generating new business. This position is ideal for a proactive onboarding/business executive looking to make a tangible impact.

Duties
  • As an onboarding/business executive, you will provide quotations and take instructions for new work, working closely with the Head of Department to allocate tasks and ensure effective on-boarding of new clients.
  • You will develop new and build upon existing relationships with local Estate Agents and other third parties, open new files in line with statutory and internal procedures, and maintain all case files to a high standard in accordance with SRA requirements, Law Society protocols, internal procedures, and the LEXCEL quality mark.
  • You will work closely with Legal Assistants to maintain a positive client experience, support cases under supervision, monitor client satisfaction, handle file closing procedures, and provide high-quality administrative support.
  • You will also proactively seek ways to enhance the client experience.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • General understanding of the law and procedures in relation to conveyancing
  • High degree of IT literacy, particularly MS Office, and ideally experience using electronic case management systems
  • Knowledge of the local property market is an advantage
  • Flexible and motivated, with enthusiasm, commitment, and ability
  • Sales skills, with the ability to attract new business
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Resilient and highly organised in a busy working environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong team player supporting colleagues and team objectives

  • Previous sales or new business development experience
  • Experience within an Estate Agency, Property Management organisation, or similar is a distinct advantage
