Job summary
Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to provide dependable technical support and hands-on work at customer locations. You will manage tickets, troubleshoot across diverse technologies, and ensure service levels are met.
The role involves travel, installation and maintenance of IT equipment, and strong collaboration with suppliers. A minimum of five years' IT experience and expertise in Microsoft 365, security standards, and Azure is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience.
- Hands-on experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
- Strong Microsoft 365 environment administration (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
- Experience with Intune, RMM technologies and telephony systems.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of customer technical queries and provide support.
- Travel to customer sites to investigate faults and apply fixes.
- Manage incoming tickets through the Service Desk platform.
- Keep customers informed on progress and resolution times per SLAs.
- Escalate incidents when required and plan daily priorities.
- Monitor customer systems to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT equipment and software.
- Maintain clear records of activity and outstanding tasks.
