Job summary

Regional Recruitment Ltd in Coventry area is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a professional construction team on a variety of projects. The role is site-based with focus on accurate setting out to drawings and specs, coordinating with site management, and ensuring safety and programme adherence.

Applicants should have strong surveying skills and a full UK driving licence; salary is DOE, contract full-time.

Qualifications

Experience as Setting Out Engineer in construction or civil engineering.
Strong understanding of drawings, specifications and technical information.
Proficient with surveying equipment (Total Stations, GPS, laser levels).
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Setting out works accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Carrying out dimensional checks and surveys on site.
Using Total Station, GPS, laser levels and other surveying equipment.
Establishing and maintaining site control points and benchmarks.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Providing accurate levels, lines and coordinates to site teams.
Working with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors.
Checking completed works against drawings and specifications.
Maintaining accurate site records and setting out information.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
