Qualifications

• Proven UK experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer.
• Strong experience within groundworks and civil engineering.
• Confident using Total Station and GPS equipment.
• Experience with setting out, levels, surveys and as-builts.
• Good understanding of site QA procedures and engineering documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Able to work independently within a busy site environment.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Relevant civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Setting out, levelling and surveying for groundworks and civil engineering works.
• Working accurately from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Using Total Station and GPS surveying equipment.
• Carrying out surveys and recording as-built information.
• Maintaining accurate site records and engineering documentation.
• Supporting QA and ensuring works meet required standards.
• Liaising with project managers, site supervisors and other members of the delivery team.
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety requirements.
