A leading civil engineering firm in the UK seeks a Site/Setting Out Engineer to join their Horley/Crawley team. The role involves ensuring safety, accuracy in setting out, and overseeing junior staff. Qualifications

• Preferred qualification: HNC or equivalent experience in civil engineering.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Experience with Total Station Survey and GNSS equipment.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software.

Responsabilités

• Ensure health and safety compliance on site.
• Conduct checking of base stations and site control.
• Perform OGL surveys in collaboration with the survey department.
• Extract and set out data from drawings with precision.
• Oversee junior engineers and trainees on site activities.
• Maintain accurate records of as-built information.
