Job summary

Rubix UKII is seeking a Lead Site Service Engineer to oversee site service engineers and contractors at customer facilities, ensuring activities are delivered on time and in line with RUBIX UK & I specifications.

You will plan labour and resources, monitor performance, maintain safety standards, and support cost control. Regular customer liaison and documentation completion are required, with on-call and shift rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Delivery of activities on schedule and to RUBIX UK & I specifications.
• Adherence to HSEQ policies and safe working practices.
• Effective planning and allocation of labour/resources for projects.
• Competent liaison with customers regarding scope and progress.
• Maintenance of site documentation, permits, and reports.
• Mentoring engineering personnel to meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise site service engineers and contractors at customer facilities.
• Ensure compliance with RUBIX UK & I HSEQ policies and procedures.
• Conduct site risk assessments, toolbox talks, and ensure safe systems of work.
• Plan, coordinate, and allocate labour and resources to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Liaise with customers regarding work scope, progress updates, and site requirements.
• Ensure all site documentation, permits, reports, and completion certificates are completed and submitted.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Support quotation development, job costing, and resource planning activities.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement and business development within customer sites.
• Mentor and develop engineering personnel through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Participate in site audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Active participation in on-call rota, shift working and overtime requests to maintain service levels.
