Job summary

The Home Office Corporate Services Group is recruiting 1 x SGB1 (AO) Operational Security Supervisor to oversee on-site security for the Liverpool and Leeds estate. This is a full-time role with shifts including early starts, late finishes, and overnight shifts. Travel to other Home Office sites within the region may be required as directed.

Training is provided during probation and ongoing on the job. You will work as part of a team to ensure a safe, secure environment and effective customer

• Oversee security operations on site and supervise daily tasks
• Assist customers, staff and stakeholders professionally
• Ensure compliance with policy and guidance while on duty

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations on site in Liverpool and Leeds
• Conduct bag and vehicle screenings for staff, visitors and contractors
• Monitor alarm and CCTV systems and respond to incidents
• Provide guidance to colleagues and escalate to Security Management when required
• Complete regular foot patrols as directed
