Job summary

The Home Office through its Corporate Services Group is recruiting an Operational Security Supervisor (AO) to oversee on-site security across the Liverpool and Leeds estate. You will supervise daily security operations, coordinate bag/vehicle screenings, and monitor alarms and CCTV to keep the site safe and compliant.

Role requires full-time shifts including early starts, late finishes and overnight work, with potential travel within the Liverpool/Leeds region.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and on-site supervision.
• Ability to coordinate security activities and respond to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Assist and provide guidance to customers, staff and stakeholders.
• Conduct random bag and vehicle screenings on staff, visitors and contractors.
• Monitor alarm and CCTV systems and escalate when required.
• Provide support to colleagues and maintain safety and policy compliance.
• Perform regular on-site foot patrols and enforce directives.
