Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a security professional to protect our client’s property, people and assets by following Assignment Instructions and site-specific AI changes. You will be accountable for delivering KPIs and SLAs through disciplined on-site service.

Applicants should have prior security experience, hold an SIA licence and be prepared to obtain or renew the required front-line licence and CCTV PSS SIA licence. A proactive, safety-conscious approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• SIA licence held.
• SC clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of and ensure compliance with all policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements on site.
• Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Proactively review AI changes and suggest amendments to improve the current level of service.
• Comply with Industry and Statutory Licensure requirements (front-line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and hold CCTV PSS SIA Licence.
• Comply with safety obligations and report hazards promptly.
• Follow instructions and procedures and work in a systematic, orderly way.
• Ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time slot.
• Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report incidents.
