Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at a Tendring site. You will lead the security team, ensure adherence to site procedures, and liaise with clients to maintain high service standards.

The role requires an SIA license, English proficiency, and strong reliability, with a focus on training, performance management, and incident handling.

Qualifications

• SIA license holder; SC clearance desirable.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Computer and software literate; able to use standard office tools.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Security.
• Be the first point of contact for the Security team and ensure standards are met.
• Assist in on-going training and induction of security staff on site procedures.
• Develop teamwork and maintain high morale; motivate staff.
• Assist in reviewing performance and development of officers.
• Investigate security/equipment incidents and handle complaints.
• Provide customer/client liaison as required.
• Ensure compliance with Assignment Instructions and timely handover messages.
• Maintain up-to-date security records and logs; adhere to data protection laws.
