Job summary

Grainger plc in Birmingham is seeking a Maintenance Operative to perform on-site maintenance tasks and deliver excellent customer service to residents across our allocated blocks. You will provide repairs and maintenance across multiple blocks, supporting the Facilities Manager with inspections and plant room tasks.

Role focuses on maintaining communal areas, safety, and overall functionality, ensuring standards are met and resident satisfaction upheld in a fast-growing build-to-rent environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete on-site maintenance tasks and deliver excellent customer service to residents across the blocks.
• Provide repairs and maintenance services across multiple blocks of apartments within the allocated cluster.
• Undertake void turnaround works as required.
• Ensure internal and external communal areas, buildings, grounds and amenities meet standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety and overall functionality.
• Support the Facilities Manager by completing building maintenance and plant room inspections as directed.
