Job summary

Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team maintains critical equipment across our sites. As an RME Technician, you’ll perform proactive maintenance and respond to faults to keep machines running safely and efficiently.

You’ll work with on-site teams, support apprentices, and participate in continuous improvement projects across EU sites while rotating shifts to ensure round-the-clock support.

Qualifications

• Completes a 4‑year UK certified apprenticeship or NVQ/SVQ/IVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Utilise the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
