Job summary

Amazon is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment and uphold Health and Safety standards across EU sites. The role is on-site and involves proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and implementing improvements to reduce downtime.

You will work with on-site teams and contractors, support apprentices, and participate in continuous improvement projects to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 4-year UK certified apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer.
• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites.
