Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician role based on-site at our distribution centres. You’ll perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults in live operations, and implement rapid fixes to keep equipment safe and productive.

As part of a technically minded team, you’ll support apprentices, lead improvements, and contribute to cross-site automation initiatives. Shift work ensures around-the-clock coverage and site reliability.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ/IVQ/City & Guilds/EAL Level 3 in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics or 4 years UK certified apprenticeship.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays as needed.
• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
• Qualified engineer with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
