Job summary

Amazon Uk Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment and ensure safe, reliable operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and work with on-site teams to implement improvements across EU sites.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on diagnostics, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning daily maintenance tasks and collaboration with contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / SVQ Level 3 / IVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 / EAL Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer.
• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites.
