Job summary

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. keeps vital machinery running and environments safe. As an RME Technician, you’ll maintain equipment and workspaces following Health and Safety best practices while reducing downtime.

You’ll help protect colleagues and support site performance across EU operations. On-site role with proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics, or 4 years UK certified apprenticeship.
• Flexible schedule/shift including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
• Qualified engineer with relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
